A feature of the elections was the very unexpecteti pro-Labour landslide in Scotland. This was not con fined to the industrial districts bat spread from Glasgow all over the Lowlands. It is regarded as a triumph of organization and the result of a very inten- sive political campaign.
There are still eight Scottish results to be declared, but at present 28 Labour men have been returned in addition to oze Independent Prohibitionist Labour man, and one Commanist.
