must of necessity be experimental, but thanks to the courtesy of the authori- ties of the Rhenish Mission Church Building in Bonham Road, as well as to the generosity of Sir Faul Chater we are able to continue the experi- ment for one more year. Our great hope is that these sermons may form a link between the Colony and the University, and may parkaps be a means of bringing the Colony to realise more fully that this is a Uni- versity town, and that there are op- portonities in a University town which are not to be found cliewhere. We hope that the clergy and ministers of all denominations as well as the leading laymen in the Colony will preach during the year ou subjects of real importance in relation to modern thought, and we hope that the Colony as a whole will avail itself of the op- portunity of beating these sermons. The programme is being printed for the year, and I shall be pleased to send a copy to anyone who is interest- ed. This also will appear each week under the advertisement of Church Services in your paper. From this it will be seen that to-morrow the pres cher will be the Rev. W. T. Feather- ston, M.A., Headmaster of the Dia- cesan Boys' School, who is taking for his subject "The position of the modern Churchina".
