Belated reports of a Nationalist sethack
to hand from Kenmare, County
Kerry, which the Irregulars captured after seven hours of ferce fighting. Brigadier O'Connor. commanding the his brother, were Nationalist forces, also killed, and 10 of the garrison were made prisoners, but subsequently liberated, ten niles away, after effective control of Kenmare had been secured.
