ALLIED COMMISSION'S FIND.

NEED FOR UNITY,

LONDON, August 4. "The position of the Empire wireless has greatly improved but is still far from satisfactory. Meanwhile other countries are getting ahead of us," said Mr. Empire Press Union. He said that the Post Master Robert Donald presiding at the annual meeting of the

General's recent announcement of a new Empire wireless

policy was a surprising confession that the policy of the Post Office in the past was wrong. The new plan had not undone the early blunders and meant an entire change in equipment, methods and transmission. We were threatened with two or three different systems -of wireless in the Empire nons of which would be a com- plete chain in itself. Unless they coordina'ed there would certainly be delay and confusion. All high powered stations should work in harmony and the whole Empire system or systems should be under unified control.
