LONDON, February 21.

It appears that the two military men murdered in Dublin yesterday one of whom was a sergeant, were the victims of an ambush which had previously attached two military cars and set one of them afire.

Questioned in the House of Commons to-day, Mr. Winston Churchill said that a detachment of Provisional and Crown forces was investigating the crime. He asured the House that the Provisional Government was doing its utmost to bring the perpetrators to justice and said that the military had recently been ordered to fire if assailed. Such firing was in sell-defence and did not violate the treaty.
