The Admiralty announces that the work of clearing Heligoland Bight minefeld has now been successfully! Accomplished by the Germans. This marks a definite stage in the work of restoring the sess to normal coodi- tions, since the entire North Sea is thus rendered clear of moored mines. At the Armistice enormous numbers of minefields and dangerous areas existed all over the world, principally in Earopean waters. The waters sur- rounding the British Isles are LOW antitely cleared, and the Mediter ranean Sea is practically cleared, only three arall areas on the Albanien coast remaining, the clearing of which should be completed this year.
