thar coluters Latest reports of the Moplah risings show
Malappuram, Calicut and Tarur are converging on Tirurangad. Reports from some districts indicate that the disturbances are slowly subsiding and a favourable turn in the situation is expected shortly. Attempts by members of the congress party in pacify the Moplahs have apparently failed. Local newspapers draw attention to the fact that the rising was not merely against the Government but against all non- Moslems, in consequence of which Hindus and Christians are organising bands with the object of teating off the rebels.

Particulars from Pukkatur show that a large body of rebels armed with sporting rifles, swords, and carbines made a demonstration of traditional ferocity and eagerness for death. No either alternative is admivel if the sender avails himself of this facility his request trust be written on the parcel al must be in the following forms:-

(b) tezdered for delivery to
