LONDON, May 24. Certain postal rates are being increased from June 16. The Post- master-General announced in the House of Commons- that the increases which were being made in order to meet the Past Office desit for the corrent year, would include postcards from 14. to 135, and foreign letters 24 to 34 There will be no increase on newspapers sent abroad but there will be an increase on other printed matter.
