Germany's reply to M, Briand's note reiterates her intention, not to allow free corps of troops to proceed to Upper Silesia, but points out, that she has no influente over the purely self-defence organisation in Upper Silesia which was created under the administration of the inter-Allied Commission. The note declares that as a result of Lord D'Abernon's representations, Germany is endeavouring to ease the situation in a practical manner and is now sending money and foodstuffs to the occupied zone.
