worth making public

(1) The written agreement of any Government, public body, frm or in- dividual requires very careful con- sideration before being signed.

(2) It seems doubtful whether con tracts made in this country are legally Sinding abroad, even in some of our own little colonies.

(3) The shilling in Britain, be rupee in India and the Eastern dolla: seem to have much the same purchas- ing power; rate of exchange should never be taken into consideration when the salary is not stated in sterling.
