Mr.CW.Entwhistle, M. P., and Mr. George Terrell M. P., both emphasis- ed the hindering and hampering effect of the excess profite duty on production coming on top of the crippling influence of the war. As one of the joint managing directors of the corporation, Mr.. Murray Campbell gave some informa- tion based on his experience gained during twenty odd years active financial work in China as manager of the Russo-Asiatic Bank late in Tientsin.

The corporation has been facor- porated under the Jersey Limited Liabilities Companies Act, 1861 and 1885, and the solicitors, Messrs. Ashurst Morris Crisp & Co., have issued a certificate stating that, this registration, was not done to avoid
