The Manchester market is very dull and prices are weak, more especially for American Cotton cloths. Cotton was last quoted at 1371. Cotton Yarn Clearances have been very slack due to lack of con- fidence brought about by fresh distur bances in various centres. A gradual restoration of order is expected before long. Market has meanwhile ruled very quiet and values are easier.
