MILITARY SITE IN HONGKONG.

In the House of Commons, replying to Colonel John Ward, Colenel Amery stated. that the proposals of the Governor of Hong- kong in regard to the Colonial Gorera- ment's resuming areas occupied by the mili tary authorities were referred to the War Uce, and the General Commanding was instructed to discuss the matter with the Governor and anbmit recommendations. He had no information in regard to the progress in the discussion or the sites which might be contemplated to all to the mili tary authorition instead of any surrendered site.
