IRISH OUTRAGES.

LORIY BOMBED.

LONDON, October 11 Details of the Irish outrages show that a lorry en route to Castlerea was destroyed by a bonib. Two lorries ambushed near Bandon by a hundred armed men contained three officers and twenty men. The laries were fired on from both sides of the road and pulled up when the soldiers dis mounted and opened fire. The fight lasted an hour in pitch darkness. The soldiers were unable to see the attackers while the military were plainly visible by the headlights of the lorries.

Machine-gunning by the attacking party on the military forty is reported. In connection with the ambush at Kanturk the lorry was bald up by milk-carts draw across. the road. PRESIDENT WILSON'S HEALTH.

SLIGHT RELAPSE DUE TO CAMPAIGN EXERTIONS.

WASHINGTON, October. LL President Wilson has suffered a slight relapse. His illness is attributable to extra exertions in the campaign in the interests of Governor for His friends and physicians are convinced that President Wilson has not regained his normal strength and must go a slower pace. A distinguished physician with excellent opportunities of studying the case states that while President Wilson will never recover his strength he will carry on as at present indefinitely. The case is like ordinary paralysis but President Wilson is determined to cope grimly daily with his work and play the game to the end with high courage.
