RETURN VISIT.
Since leaving Hongkong some two months ago, when it will be re- membered the Humphrey Bishop Company played an all too brief but. highly successful season the Company have played through Japan and Shanghai and are at present playing to crowded houses in Manila.
They are due to reach Hongkong. on Thursday next on the Empress of Russia" and open their season On Friday the 25th at the Theatre- Royal where they will present a new series of vaudeville programmes, interpolated into which will be ex- cerpts from all the most popular operas.
Report speaks very highly of four new artistes who have joined the company since they were last here, particularly of the Jazz Drummer who-has-created-a-sensation-at-each- place he has appeared. REVOLVERS AGAIN.
Detective Sub-Inspector Murphy this morning charged a Chinese con- stable before Mr. N. L.
