In the House of Commons, Viscount Curzon suggested that immediate steps should be taken to prevent Japanese buying browning land in the British crown colonies unless a similar concession were extended to British subjects in Japan.
Col Amery replied that it was not considered there was sufficient reason for the action suggested. According to the government's informa- tion, the question of revision of the land laws of Japan had apparently been considered recently.
