MESOPOTAMIAN OILFIELDS.
LONDON, May 7th., The Times states that financiers severely criticise the negotiations which are be lieved to be nearing completion for the transfer of the Mesopotamian oil-fields, which are reputed to contain as much oil 46 the United States, to a new company controlled by the Ecyal Dutch Shell group.
It is understood that it is proposed thai Great Britain is entitled to approve the appointment of the Directors of the new Further
company, but that there is no benefit to Britain. It in doubtful whether public
opinion will sanction granting the monopoly of the Mesopotamian oil-feld to a company
cent. of whose profita per would presumably go to Holland. It is now impossible to recognise the pre-war arrangement between Turkey, the German

Meso
Banks, the Royal Dutch Shell and the Anglo Persian Oil Company for the right to exploit the oil in Mesopotamia. It is suggested that the Government should carry out the geological survey of potamia, and then divide the oil-field into a few large areas for development by British companies It is estimated that $10,000,000 is required to develop the Mesopotamian field. It will be five years before oil is produced.

Often we remark that we cavy them their vitality and keen interest "in the affairs of life.
There is no need for eavy if the blood- -less delicate ones will pay attention to health and make good their deficiency of blood.
