The Criminal Sessions were re- sumed this morning before Mr. Justice Gompertz.
Liu Fuk. Ho Fuk, and Ko Lo were charged with having committed an Assault with intent to rob, and with having committed common assault at Kowloon or March 22.
Pleas of not guilty were entered and the following jury was impelled Messrs. F. M. Ozorio, D. C. Jorge. E. Humphreys, J. A. Gilaro, E. A.) Ellis, J. C. Ferguson, and J. F.

EFFECT OF WAGE INCREASE.
The Hongkong Electric Company claims to be making a considerable sacrifice in giving its workers ie creased pay at the rate of 92-12 per cent on the monthly wage.
They empley about 1,000 men, in cluding the apprentice at $5.00 per month, the coolie at $13.00, the fitter at $30.00, and mechanics at from $43.00 to $50.00 per month.
At the percentage granted, the increase in each class amounts to
$5.00 men now get $162 increase or $6.62 per month. $13.00 men now get $4.22 increase or $17.22 per month.
