latest rags." There is something for all. Last night the first half of the programme consisted of ex- cerpts from Faust. How well the performers acquitted them- selves could be judged by the manner of the applause at the con clusion of every item. To pkk át random a few of the pieces rendered mention might be made" of "Ever Bravest hearts. by Walter Kingsley, "Flower Song" by Louise Meadową, the "Jewel Song" by Marcelene Boulais, and Mephistophel's Serenade by Mr. Humphrey Bishop, but pro- bably surpassing all indramitic effect wap the trio from the prison scene. In this Marcelene Boulais, Maurice Jaffey and Humphrey Bishop took part. It was an inspiring rendition well worthy of its rapturous recep tion.
