Wassoros, February 12th. Mr. Hines, the Director-General of Railroads conferred with Mr. Palmer, the Attorney-General, in regard to the threatened strike of railway men.

Mr. Palmer subsequently refused to issue of disenss ste possibility of an Government injunction against the rail- way strike.
