football enthusiasts are assured of a rare treat. The match which arises the most speculation is that between. St. Joseph's College and South China. Both these teams play good football and they drew on the occasion of a previous encounter. St. Joseph's now leading the Chinese in the league tables, have a anxious to show their superiority, and at the same time consolidate their position and keep above the Chinese SERVICES TO RETURNED STUDENTS, Cntil the close of the league. Roads were leased for headquarters of the Federation. Here the first Quarterly Meeting was held, followed by a concert which was a great social and financial success.
From that time on the public in Shangha and other parts of China began to take a fively interest in the Federation and generously offered their loyal support, resulting in z Steady swelling of the membership hstand in the production of a series of educational and social activities which has given the Federation a status that has reflected honour not only the institution itself but also to the country Any attempt he re- Pate the events of the Federation in their proper chronological order would be impossible in a brief sketch of this
FEDERATION PUBLICATIONS-The Federation early realised the necessity of keeping in touch with its members at home and broad. It has therefore, published at different times journals of its own both in Chinese and Eng- fish. The literature is of a very vatu- able character and deals with the burning questions of the various re- forms of which China stands in need. Among the contributors were found men of great distinction in literary and political circles.
The Club-R.G.A. match which to be played on the Military ground should also prove to be a big draw.. Some are inclined to anticipate an easy win for the Club, but those who have followed local league football week after week think otherwise." Despite the fact that the civilians are the hot favourites for 'this match, we think a draw is the most probable
