Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the affect that the tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury a sum as stated in the schedule bereunder opposite to sech, quarry; sa s pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the conditions hereinafter contained, should the tender be accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or say tænder. Forms of tender can be obtained from the Eirector of Public Works.
