TAKE Notice that under No. 3 of the Domestic Cleanliness, and Ventila- tion Bye-Laws (as amended), avery domestic building or part of such build- ing within the Eastern Division of the City of Victoria, and the Eastern Division of Kowloon and New Kowloon, cccupied by members of more than one family, except those within the Euro- pean Reservation or in Kowloon south of Austin Road or those parts of Domestic Building ad s Shop Use or Godown, must be cleaned and limewashed throughout by the owners during the months of October and November.
N.B-The word "Throughout "ased in this Notice means that the houses should be limewashed in respect of all walls of each room, all cubicles, parti tions, stair casings, and stair-linings, all ceilings and the undersides of tools in main building, offices, and servants' quarters and inclusive of verandahs.
The Backyard must have its contain- ing walls limewashed up to the level of the first floor.
Carved painted or polished woodwork in good conditica, however, need not be limowashed, but must be cleansed.
The Eastern Division of the City of) Victoria is bounded on the West by Gilman Street and Perl Street.
Kowloon is divided into the Eastern and Western Divisions by Nathan Road | and a straight line drawn from the Yaumati North and through the service reservoir to the Northern Boun- dary of Kow.com.
