WAR HONOURS.

Loxboy, November 22nd. The War Office annonces that between August, 1014, and October 31st., 1319, $30,035 honours, excluding the Air Force, were awarded for services in the field, and 13,362 for other war services

Of these the Indian forces were awarded 6,317 and 136 respectively.

The total includes 577 Victoria Crosses, and 8,883 Distinguished Service Orders./ The total number of officers and men in the British Army during war-time was Approximately 8,100,000.

In the South African wär 448,435 parti- cipated, and the honours totalled 8,714.
