Finance Minister, and Herr Schmidt, the Minister of Economics, in regard to the, proposal to establish a clearing house in Berlin to control all experts from Germany to the British Empire and imports from Britain to Germany, states that the Ger man Government has consented in prin- cipla to British officials controlling the Licence Department of the Ministry of Economics.
