POLITICAL CLAUSES.

EUROPE,

The nigh contracting partics recognise and not the frontiers of Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Ramania, the Berio ratlovene State. and Thech Storak State as at present deter

Austria routinees, in favour of the principal Allied and Associated Powers, all her rights and titles over territories Formerly felonging to her which, though outside the new frontiers of Austria, have not as present leen signed to any State, andertaking to accept the settlemens to be nude in regard to these territories.

THE CHINCH-SUOVAK STATY, Austria recognises the complete inde pendence of the Telecho Stuvak State, ineling the autonomous territory Borth of the Carpathians, in conformity with the action already taken hy the Allied and Associated Powers.

The act boundary between Austria and the new State is to be fixed by a Field Commission of seven members, ve nominated by the principal Allied and Associated Powers and one each by Austria and Telecho-Slovakia.

Thecho Slovakia agrees to embody, in Treaty with the principal Allied and Associated Powers, such provisions as may be deemed necessary to protect radial, religious, or linguistic minorities. and to assure, freedom of transit and. equitable treatment for the commerce of other nations.

THE SERBO-CROAT-SLOVENE STATE. Austria, similarly, recognises the com pie independence of the Serbo-Croat- Slovene State, and renounces her rights and titles.

A similarly appointed Field Commis ios, including a member nominated by the Serbo-Croat-Slovene State, is to fix the suct boundary.

The Serbo-Croat-Slovene State ngrees to a similar Treaty for the protection of minorities and freedom of transit.
