18 befors Mr. Grant Jones, British Assessor. and Magistrate oh, Wm. Pucher, manager of the Austrian Lloyd iddo an application for the return to him-af-all money which was found in a safe kept in a Chinese house in Tongshan Road and which had been seized by order of the Court.
The applicant was unrepresented. Mr. G. H. Wright appearing for the Hongkong & Shanghai Bank and Mr. G. F. Musso for the Bureau of Fiquidation, both of whom had obtained judgments against the Austrian Lloyd.
Mr. Pucher roade a prefinitury application that this matter should be heart in camera, which was not granted.
Mr. Wright said that the judgment obtained by his clients was for Th. 8,800 so it was still unsatisfeil. The bank had been unable to locate any assets at the time and no steps hail been taken particularly in View of Mr. Pucher's statement on those ocensions that he had then no-in- terest in the Austrian Lloyd..
Mr. Pacher examined by Mr. Wright, said that when he w up- proached in Janitary, 1918, by officer of the Court for the purpos of serving the writ in the bank's case upon him, the other of the Austrian Lloyd was closed and had been closed sinée October, 1917.
