Before the full court of appeal com posed of Chief Justice (Sir William Rees-Davies, K.C.) and the Puiane Judge (Mr. Justice H. H. Gomperta) this morning, an appeal was heard in which Ip Chicum made an application that the rule isi for a writ of Habeas Corpe be made absolute.

Mr. Eldon Potter (instructed by Mr. Goldring) appeared for the prisoner while the Hon., Mr. H. Kemp, Attorney General (instructed by Mr. G. H. Wakeman) was for the Crown.
