The sale of roses on behalf of the Red Cres began this morning in the entrance of the Hongkong Hotel By kindness of Mr. Taggart, a tall was erected, this being micely decorated and in the centre was a large Red Cross. There was on the stall a large and beau- tiful nelection of roses all tastefully ar ranged in vases. The stall was presided yer by Mrs. Harrington who was assisted By Mrs Hirdy Mrs. Barrington hopes to be able to hold a sale daily from -930a.m. to 1 pm for the next twe weeks and after that three times a week if the supply of roses will not permit a daily sale.
