HONGKONG TIDES.

The tide table given below has been- compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an- automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1905-9.

The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admialty: Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean səs-levalle

To obtain the depth of water on the tide ginge at the Victoria Nayal Fard - add a foot 4 fiches, and on the ginge at Lamont DocE, "Aberdeenz, add: 10 fost 4 inches to the height given in the table. September 4th to 10tz, 1918.
