PROSPECTUS.
Frias to be paid in Bonds of the Bengkong Government &% War Loan of 1918 (which may be redeemed at the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation of par) and, in order to ensure that the scheme is productive of "new" money for war purposes, an equivalent amount of the prizes will be reinvested by the Hongkong, and Shangbai Banking Corporation in new British War Loan Stock.

Of the total amount subscribed, 50 per cent.. after deducting expenses, will be distributed in prizes, and the remaining 50 per cent. will be given to War Charities.
The amount to be distributed in prizes will be divided as follows;-..

Hongkong, and the date and hour at The Drawing will be in public gwhich it will take place will be notified in due course by advertisement.
The sale of tickets will cluse in Hongkong on Tuesday, the 31st December, 1918.
Any disputes arising will be decided by the Committee of the Hongkong St. Andrew's Society whose decision ball be final.

HONGKONG TIDES,
The tide table Iren below has been compiled at the National Almanse Offer in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of so satomatic bide-recording machine, in the Water Police Basin at Trim Sha Tsu during the years 1909-9.
The cero of the table corresponds with the sero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet- 3 inches below mean sea-level
