HONGKONG TIDES.
The tide table Kiven below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Folice Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1903-9.
The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of thesounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean sea-level
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gange at the Victoria Naval Yard add 3 feet 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4 inches to the height given in the tables.
