RESTRICTION BY THE STRAITS REGISTERED COMPANIES.

A meeting of representatives of com panics registered in Singapore, Malices and Johore. was held at the offices of Mesara. Evattand Co,Singapore, recently to discuss the question of the restriction of rubber outputs by companies register ed locally in the same manner as bas been carried out by companies registered in the United Kingdom. Mr. W. M. Sime was in the chair.
The following resolutions were put to the meeting and after discussion were unanimously passed-
1. That in the opinion of the meeting it is desirable for locally-registered com- panies to restrict their actputs in a uner similar to that done by com- panies registered in the United Kingdom ho are members of the Rubber Growers' Association.
