SATURDAY'S MATCHES.
THE LEAGUE TABLE
The results of Saturday's League matobas leaves the University in a more farostable position, they having disposed of the C. F C without much difficulty. The Students who have two more matches to play, may reascuably be zalied upon to beat the Middlesex XI, so that their hopes reat on a win over H.K.&C. Hongkong are strongly favoured and the queation of the fius honour of topping the League will be decided on the results of the University Ferrus Hongkong and the Civil Service

The University's win over the CRC was by the substantial margin of 120 run and two wieksts. För the Re creationists, Chos Man Ping and H. Ching were the only batsmen able to make say sort of showing and the team was dismissed for 116 runs. För the University, "A. H. Kumjabo sad Frofesor Wright made a successful partnership, putting on 114 runs between Chen and when time was up. the Scholars' score stood at 236 for eight wickets.
MIDDLESEX - CRAIGENGOWER
In this match, played on the Craigengower ground, the Soldiors' scoring was poor and R. Grimmett, bowling for the home team, bad things very ab his own way: rtaking seven wickets for 28 runs. The Middlesex men were finally dismissed for 65. Craigengewer started off bedly and eight wickets went down for 14 TUDE. Saner and Sala then made a stand, putting on a further 48 between them and bringing the Enal score to 108, thus winning by 12 runs
