The tide-table even below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tido-recording machine in the Water Folies Basin at Team Sha Tsui doring the years 87-8-9."

The care of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet

inches below mean sea level.

To obtain the depth of water on the tide-gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add 3 feet 4 inches, and on the gange at Lemont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4inches to the height given in the table.
