HONGKONG TIDES.
The tide-table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an sutomatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Taim Sha Tsui during the years 87-8-9.
The rero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 fest 3 inches below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the, Victoria Naval Yard add 3 feet 4 inches, and on the gange at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4 inches to the height given, in the table.
