HONGKONG TIDES.

The tide table Kryen below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of thoanalysis of observations taken by means of an automatic tide recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Taim Sha Tsui during the year, 1857-8-9.

The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean sea level.
