HONGKONG TIDES,
The tide-table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an antomatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1967-8-9.
The sero of the tale corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 3 inches below mean sea level
To obtain the depth of water on the tide range at the Victoria Naval Yard add a feet 4 inches, and on the gange st Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4 inches to the height given in the table.
