The market appears to be steadily re- covering from, the lothargy of the past six months, a very fair amount of busi ness having materialized during the week under review. The improvement so far is chiefly noticeable in the yarn section, where, perhaps, it was mCAT needed, and doubtless the relatively low prices at which the up-country markets have boen able to get their yaro com pared with which they would have to- pay for cloth has been the cause of the activity in the former, and of the satis factory rise in prices of all spinnings. which has taken place.
