The total casualties in Flanders was-Officers 11,434; mon 255,849.
In the Dardanelles' the casualties:ware Officers 2,144; men 47,094. -
In Flanders the number killed war-3,288 oficers and 45,372 reen and in the Dardanelles 567 officers and 7,567 men.
The number of killed in the Navy was 449 Officers and 7,430 mon. -
IMPORTANT CLIMAX EXPECTED.

A telegram from Petrograd states that militery oficials expect that a 'olimax will take place both on the Norow and at Laublin within a fortnight and that the next few days will reveal the part being played by the Germans on the Nieman front. The expert, Captain Shamaky, estimates that the effective German cavalry in the Baltic Provinces number 39,000 and it is presumed thas their immediate object is to get eastward of Karno to cut the Kovo Vilas railway
SERBIA RE-AWAKENING.
LONDON, July 47.
A telegram from Rome states that Serbiais rapidly re-awakening. The typhus epidemic has been vanquished and supplies have been received which again place the Army on the highest level. The Government has been defeated in the House of Lords where, despite an appeal by Lord Lansdowne, a motion by Lord Halfour of Burleigh to adjoura the debate on the Naval and Military Pansions Bill ill after the recess was ailopted by 44 votes to 31.
Lord Lansdowne pointed out that the adjournment meant that for the next seven weeks no provision would be"available for supplementing tha pensions of disabled men, widows and. orphans, and nothing could be done in the way of training the disablad mer to earn & livelihood.
