It is reported that thews chests cleared during the past fortnight are now lying in Canton. Clearances nvreportedpf 42 chusta of Patta old, chest of Benares new and 15 chests of Benares ld in all about 59" chest, Unwild stock is estimated at about 418

new, 214 chests of Patna old 30 chess of Bernres new, and on cheats of Benares old. Sola burunclested stock :- 60 chests of Patna new, 174 chests of Patna ull, 78 chesta of Benures new, and 63 chests of Benares old, in all about 365 chests. Reported quotations (of the Opium Combine) are as under :--

Patus new $10,000; Pans old $10,000; Benares new 10,000; Barátis old 210,000. Malwa Opium-No ales are reported. Clearsneex of only 3 chests. Linsola stock i estimated as hout 0394 chests. 3.ht but unclengd stock is about 14 chosta, Closing quotations (of the Opiam Combine)

Trling Yarn-Though prices in India are Saniyand much more higher than thosa, ruling here, the Chinese merchants are much frightened to make fresh heavy purchases owing to present concatenation of circumstances, occasioned by the expected friction with Japan, which has now happily passed over, bed the effect of weakening our yarn market. Prices show a decline of $1 to 8 per bale owing to laskness of demand from the interior, and we now bare to report sales of 1300 leles as under:-
