THE DUKE OF PORTLAND'S STUD

It is understood that the Duke of Portland has scratched some of his horses in all engagements for the present season and the remainder until July 31. The remaining horses in training will be sold by suction at Newmarket. If the war takes a favourable course, the Duke will doubtless consider the advisability of running his horses in the Anfämn.
