How Russian Prisoner Was Tortured.

Petrograd.A Russian soldier named Peter Krivisor arrived here suffering from forty-three wounds. He and five com. rades, became separated from a detach. ment after pightfall, and were misdirected by the local inhabitants, with the result that they fell into the hands of a Ger man outpost.

Krivtsov was seized and disarmed by three German cavalrymen, while his com pinions were fired upon. Their fate is unknown. Krivtsov was held by two of the Germans, while the third stabbed
