HONGKONG TIDES.
The tide table given below has been compiled at the Nautical Almanas. Offica in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an an tomatic tide-recording machine in the W tor Police Basin as Tsim Sha Tsui during the years 1887-6-9.
The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Charts which has been found to be a foss 3 inches below mean, nes lovei.
To obtain the depth of water on the tida gauge at the Vistoria Naval Fard add S feet 4 inches, scd on the gauge"at Lamont Duck, Abardsen, add 10 fast 6 inches to |he height given in the table.
