The Committes appointed to organisa the subscriptions to this Fund pro- pose to proceed by asking the Heads of all British Firms in the Colony to consent to act na Sub-Collectors. Numbered Subscription Liste will be forwarded to them of two kinds- one for single subscriptions and ong for monthly subscriptions. They will be good enough to collect thọ money and to forward it (with the lists) to the Hon. Treasurer Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, who will issue rescripta, as may, be so- quired. Subscriber, who require suparate receipts should roto the fact on the subscription lists; in the Absence of such › note, the periodical publication of the sabe, seription lists in the Press will be considered sufficient.

The Monthly Subscribers' Lists should be forwarded to the Hon. Treasurer, Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, with the amount of the monthly subscrip“ tions. The Hon. Treasurer will re- turn such lists during the last weeks. of each month so that the Sub- Collectors can collect the amount at the end of as month. Monthly Subscriptions will not be acknow ledged in detail in the local prem but receipts will be issued as may bo required.
