The report for presentation to the stare. holders of this company at the twelfth ordinary general meeting, to be held at the office of the Geders: Managers, Mesars Showao, "omes & Co., on Saturday, 18th October, at noon, is as follows :- Annexed we barn the pleasure to lay before shara- holders a statement of accounts for the year ending Slut July, 1913, The act pro fit for the year, including the sum of $15,962.35 brought forward and less depre- ciation on machinery as authorised at last Faceting* $10,000, in 818,429.10... Thin in an improvement on the net profit of the previous year of $2,299,87, but not suff. cient yet o wartant a dividend. It is recommended that $10,000 be written off the value macbinery, and 3,5000 of the value of lines, and that the balance $3.429.10 be carried forward to next year's 1000unt. Tho plant has been working satisfactorily throughout the year, with only occasional failures of the light mainly incidental to the weather affecting the overhead wires.
