Sir Harry Johnston, lecturing before the Royal Anthropological Instituto, said. In deciphering the faintly recorded human history of Africa che seeing to see in the Canaian white man the chief cause and inspirer of racial migrations, "of the disturbances and remoulding of peoples, and of the uprise of religious beliefs.
