The celebrations began on Saturday in his native village, Blantyre: it was followed by a "Livingstone Sun- day," when congregations of every des momination and creed listened to sermons about the great missionsey-explorer; and now we are in the michide of a " Living stone Week," each day of which an ita gathering, ceremonial, or demonstration. At Blantyre, a statute of the "very grens Doctor" erected in niche in the memorial church that bears his name, was unveiled by his daughter, Mrs. Livingstone Wilson.
