In connection with the New Territories Evangelization Society the annual meeting of the European subscribers was held last evening in Union Church Hall. Rev. C. H. Hickling presided. The Committee's report showed large and solid progress al round in the various stations. The finan cial reports were very "cheering. The maintenance fund showed decided improve. ment and was in a sound condition. The building fund showed that the Chapel School at Lam Taun had been erected and opened free from debt. Thanks were cordially given to all who had carried on the work of the seer. The following were elected to serve on the Committee for the ensuing year, viz. Dr. a. D. Sibrer, Messrs W, G. Humphreys, W. A. Court, W. T. Harbord and A. J. Mackie.

Mr. Court reinted the history of the Lam Tsun effort, culminating in a fine building a central and commanding situation. Grunt numbers ato in attendance and the School has already many scholars The local people, especially Mr. Wong, bed "given and worked with wonderful devotion.

Mr. Mackie pointed ant thas at Un Leong the would-l learners and worshippers; rastly overtaxed the accommodation. The need of extension was very pressing.

Mr. Lo Hon Shek related his experiences
