HOTEL

Englishman and Companion Found Dead..

An English souple staying at a hotel in

the Rus de Rivoli were found dead in their rooms yesterday with bullet wounds in their bonds and revolvers la their hands writes the correspondent of the Daily Mirror from Paris December 8.

They had apparently shot. themelros simultaneously. On the hotel book their Names were entered as Captain J. Willie and Miss Lily Allen, both aged thirty-five, of London, but there is reason to suppose that the woman was a German, ・・・ *.

Captain Willis is described as a tall, handsome, military man. From his accent it is supposed ba pas Kriok,

It is believed he has a brother Hvitg near Dublin, who has been communicated with.

The lady was tall and very preposses- sing.

The couple arrived in Paris at the and of Suptember," and after a few days tha | captain returned to London, afterwards returning at week-ends.

Tho last occasion of his return was on Friday and in the evening, after dinner the couple retired to their room, stating they would not go out again. In the morning, after repeated knocks on the door and receiving no answer, a servant informed the hotel proprietor, who summoned the police and forced the door.

The woman lay on the bed and the man, felly dressed, lay where he fell The tragedy seems to have happened about

a.m,

When the couple first reached Paris letters came to them addressed to Mr and Mr. Willis, but latterly the lady wAY known only by the name of Miss Lily Alion.

They lived quietly, going occasionally to the theatre. The cause of their act can
